    Car of the week

This Japanese import Turbo R is also striking in dark metallic blue: https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1988-bentley-turbo-r-auto/OAG-AD-18142701/?Cr=21 Still double the price of the eight. I've always fancied the Turbo R from this era of Crewe

    Car of the week

This superb import 280SE has an interior the colour of Donald Trump's face. https://www.lloydsonline.com.au/LotDetails.aspx?smode=0&aid=14489&lid=2070362&pgn=1&pgs=100 real poverty spec, no tacho and doesn't look like ABS either.

    aftermarket parts experiences

The quality of aftermarket parts for Mercedes is so variable these days, I wanted to created a thread to learn from examples of what parts are good, and what parts are poor quality and should be avoided. It is also worth identifying the true OEM supplier for parts. So far, my experience...

    Car of the week

This 280S looks straight and clean. Be interesting to see how much it goes for. Not really a fan of white cars, but this one is not bad: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/283680718143?ul_noapp=true

2019 Marques in the Park (ACT)

As I was down in Canberra this weekend, I attended the Marques in the park show. A nice informal show with a good turn out of cars: http://www.classicjalopy.com/2019/11/2019-act-marques-in-the-park/

    Car of the week

This is a nice W126, but its a HK 500SEL, not a 560. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/184027768360?ul_noapp=true The seller has priced it as a low mileage AU delivery 560. I would prefer this, but the market prefers the AU 560.

    Car of the week

The days of getting a DS that you would actually want for this sort of money are long past, but this one is quite nice and I think the price is fair: https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1971-citroen-d-special-manual/SSE-AD-6277753/?Cr=2 It's not perfect but looks nice - on the plus side...

    My Citroen DS21

I decided I wanted a dash light to show me when my electric fan comes on. Luckily I had a spare warning light on my dash - there is one for parking lights that are not fitted to my car. Would have been preferable if it were green, but it’s red. All I needed was some wiring and a spare bulb...

    Car of the week

this 450Sl doesn't look bad. Don't think its a 74 though, as there is a K jet engine under the bonnet. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/133208086523

    560sec ece

I'm really glad I went - I found out the car is running way lean. It's consistent through the pull so I don't think its that the pump is not keeping up or whatever. I will need to sort this out and wouldn't have known without the dyno
