Was it the pursuit of a lighter sprung weight that was the cause of the change or the desire to cut costs? Is there a weight difference? Is there s difference in strength?

The 306 GTi6 has gone to a new owner who wanted to complete his collection of Peugeot GTis. He will now have the complete set.
I guess I will need to change my tag line. It might need to become "Real men drive a crash box manual" but we need to wait and see. I am in no great hurry...

You want to do more than change the coolant - you also want to flush the entire system of any gunk that does accumulate. I use Styria's same process and of course you need to remember to turn on the heater tap if there is one. Modern cars don't have a heater tap but if there is one you also want...
You might want to look at suspension wear - the Territory is generally known to ride very well. My ML glides over speed humps but it does have what I call the "camel effect". That is, it's high up and has long suspension travel so it can cause a to and fro movement.
