    Amelia island concours

Some nice, delectable and unusual cars exhibited at that concours. Bear in mind, this is page three of four. Incidentally, when one thinks about it, there must be dozens of shows world wide each year - be nice to know just where they all are and what sort of cars take part. Regards Styria...

    Lancia thema

Upmarket to the extent that it was fitted with a Ferrari engine. Then check out interior fittings, and even the body style, and you'd think you'd be on a winner. Sadly, the opposite was true. Regards Styria

    ROVER 3500S - Monza Red

It was my first Rover 3500S I owned. Monza Red, parchment upholstery and I still have that car today - an unfinished project at this stage.

    Case Histories No. 1

There are one or more cars of interest to some of us. A Citroen SM, a Tatra probably sworth a fortune nowadays, a Fiat 2300 Coupe, and a Rover P5B 3.5 litre Coupe. Read with interest, hopefully. Please see next post for the PDF document.

    AUSTIN 3 litre

Why have I provided space for this car in our Talking Torque section ? Firstly, rarity. Secondly, I have only ever seen one in real life, and quite frankly I was impressed by its looks and presence. Thirdly ? I have saved the cut outs for years, so I may as well put them to good use.

    He big boppers

Just testing, at this stage, if the PDF document is going to work. Okay great, it works. I recall quite distinctly a test drive I had in a 3 litre BMW, 1979 vintage I think. I was smitten by its power, certainly when compared with a Rover 3 litre Coupe I had at the time - plus an afore...

    Maserati quattro porte

It is one make, and one model, that has always stirred my blood. I have referred in another thread (the previous one !) to a long wheelbase 300SEL I used to own. Well, during that term of my ownership, I happened to be travelling along Parramatta Road and the premises of Arnold Glass, a well...

    300se fintail

I read this article with a great deal of interest. Interest because many years ago I owned a long wheelbase 1966 long wheelbase saloon. I owned for seven years, used it for one hundred thousand miles, and sold it at a handsome profit. It was a great family car -self levelling air suspension...

    My 420SEL

Hi Tim, I did manage to procure an additional ten bolts, new, at a cost of $9.00 each - this compares with a new price from Mercedes Benz of at least thirty dollars each. Alas, they do not fit on account of lack of length thread wise. Also, I am now attaching some pics of the underbonnet area...

    Unusual 107 parts

Hi Garry, I can do a bit better now, as I have found the metal overflow tank that I had repaired and then painted. In the picture below, there are in fact four types of radiator overflow tanks. Obviously, the black one is the one that (I think) you are referring to. That one , as it comes in...

    Styria's Eastern Creek - 2012

A bit more of Eastern Creek - I really liked this Citroen Station Sedan, and also the spaciousness of the interior impressed me..... Impressive looking early Mercedes Coupe - not a Club member. I do have some more photos, but will have to find them. Regards Styria

    Styria's Eastern Creek - 2012

Okay, what else was there - let me look. Another very impressive Hudson. A supercharged MG (I think) - how very rare is that..... You wanted to see how they fitted it all ? Your wish obliged. What delightful styling - I'd have it anytime. Mini Humber Super Snipe. Nice Club...

    Styria's Eastern Creek - 2012

It's taken a little bit of time to organize the recent Eastern Creek photos. Our club, the Mercedes Benz Club of NSW was well represented, although the allocated area may have been less than ideal. When I select the cars, I endeavour to photograph the unusual or rare, or obviously the ones that...

    CIS Fuel Distributor Rebuild

I found this information on the net - it is probably the best rebuild description that I have seen. I did not obtain permission from the author(s), and should there be any perceived issues, we may have to remove the thread in due course. In the meantime...
