After searching for years I finally got my steering wheel & switches/clock spring. And yes it will fit a late W116 or W126! It’s still a while off, but looking forward to a 6.9 with a 6 speed & paddle shifts! Hoping to add a W126 telescopic steering column too so the switch won’t be a dummy.
