Here’s a few other M100 variations. Another view of the Rote Sau with cross ram & twin throttles The CW311 & the Espace were later variations (and designed as street cars) which featured a single throttle.

On hp figures the AMG 500SEC (5L) made 454hp so the 560 should make quite a bit more…

You get what you pay for & this guy does amazing work. Don’t forget prices for everything have gone up since COVID. In saying that my quote was sight unseen & I suspect the final cost will be lower since it’s a pretty simple design compared to most other v8 systems. It’s a shame he’s not closer...

Great work!!! Basically NEVER throw out a strut since they can be rebuilt or worst case used for parts. Those that are selling them are trying to make huge profits in a limited market. Makes it rather unfair for someone trying to get their car driving again.

This custom manifold is rather high & I wonder if it fits under a std hood. The Sauber M117 from the C8 still retains a distributor despite the other significant modifications!

The Sauber M117 TT plumbing is no fun & I can see why few early Benzes are modified to include turbos.

Here’s a seriously modded M120, but the manifolds are only marginally better than the std ones. The last group of pix give you an idea how tight things are in the centre and the fuel rail just makes it worse!

Oh I should probably add these here. Not how I’ve designed mine, however this workmanship is superb.
