This is how to check your engine fan. I’ve been told the 450 & 6.9 clutches are the same, just the blades are different bw the models.

Something I recently found in one of the manuals! Probably from the intro to the series. Jacking in the wrong place can cause lots of damage!!

Here’s the correct part for reference. The old screen looked ok but there was a noticeable difference blowing through the old vs new screens which would have an effect on fuel pressure.

For those that weren’t sure on the correct procedure, it does make a big difference & will stop starvation or oil overflow….

Well after 13 years she’s finally running again!! Fought me almost all the way! Got lucky that the fuel system wasn’t completely gummed up! The fuel head was clearly affected so I carefully managed the prestart process. Took her for a short drive with systems working well apart from cooling fans...

Lamborghini CEO has stated no one wants an electric supercar despite the company having plans to build one. Most models are hybrids. Rimac have apparently sold only 50 of the 150 EV Neveras hypercars.

Nissan isn’t doing so well either & Toyota is holding off pure EV to focus on hybrids & hydrogen along with BMW. Meanwhile Porsche have just filed a patent for a 6 stroke ICE. Sound like the ICE isn’t dead yet & will be around for decades to come…

Looks like most manufacturers have struggled financing their EV aspirations.. Mercedes, Ford, Volvo & VW have all changed their projections. In fact VW is in serious trouble & if they go under they’ll drag others down with them…

Well I guess there’s 4v versions of the M117 and of course we can’t forget the M119. They’re just very rare compared to the standard M117. It seems MKB are recasting the 4v cylinder heads, but it’s unknown if they’ll produce all the other components to convert a 2v to 4v, or if they’re just...

Note these interesting heads from an Aston Martin. Clearly a hemi design to improve flow but only 2v. Considering their size you’d think they’d opt for 4v to improve flow even more. However that does increase complexity, manufacturing costs & weight for how much gain? It’d be nice to have...
