I'm not sure either, but the PRV 6 that was in the Delorean wasn't the best performer, so it wouldn't surprise me if this is a custom job. That engine looks pretty big, so wouldn't surprise me if its a V8 conversion.

No worries. That is a c114. I did an overview of the models on my blog, but depending on how long he had it before trading in, was likely 250C or CE, or more likely 280CE.

I Looked up the records I have for the car.
It was delivered to Neil July of 1977. Selling dealer was McIntosh of Mosman. That dealer is still there, although under different ownership and with a new name. I found a keyring from that dealer that I keep the keys to the SLC on - the keyring...
