    Car of the week

450SE with rare red interior. Paint is a bit faded, and its a D-Jet car with LPG, but that red interior is great: https://www.facebook.com/commerce/listing/353447140307573/

    1983 500SL

what a great car, great to see the photos and hear the story behind it. I've always thought the R107 500 was the pick of the bunch, better than the later 560s for example. The Penta wheels look great.

    1983 500SL

I just noticed a new Member (Stephen Nemeth) had added some photos of his car to the Gallery. It looks lovely. Stephen, it would be great to hear a bit more about your car when you get a few mins. Link to the gallery: https://www.topklasse.org/forums/media/mb500sl-jpg.345/

    C107's 560SEL

Had the rear calipers rebuilt and new front shocks fitted last week. Finally all that pedders crap off the car. The pedders shocks were not that old and already falling apart. Making noises and the outer sheath was starting to break. I think the previous owner of my car was ripped off!

    560sec ece

the brake pad light came on recently, so friday nite went to change the pads. Looks like one piston has been doing the work of two. Measured the thickness of the rotor and it's almost out of spec too. Put the old pad back in until I can get these rebuilt - kits on order.

    Car of the week

OK Results: Lot 250: 180 Ponton: $7,102. Lot 251; 190 Ponton: $4,220 - not bad for a barn find, but parts would be hard to find Lot 253: 220SE Coupe: $44,500. I think they overpaid given the condition. Lot 254: 280SE W180: $15,102: Def overpaid. That interior was hideous Lot 255...

    Car of the week

To expand on this, the bidding is online and works like grays. the lots have an end time but are extended by a few mins each time there is a bid until no more bids. Shipping rates for cars are quite competitive and the cars were dropped off to me without fuss. I didn't think the pictures...

    Car of the week

If I had to guess, I would have to guess the red ones! For somebody that has access to a body shop, 259 could be interesting if cheap enough as nice ones go for $30-$50k. Obviously the 6.9, but the lpg would have to come out too. nice ones going for $30-$50, although it would take a lot to...
