Car is back! Mechanic had to drop the steering box in the end to get enough clearance to remove the ignition lock. The used lock supplied by styria is now in the car. I am going to put the instrument cluster and some of the other trim back in myself.

I wasn't able to get it out, but I was able to use the second steering lock to move the car so I can have somebody else look at the car. The first ignition lock is still in, stuck in the #1 position. The second one is plugged into the car, into the electrical connector so I can start the car...
