Well I can now add to this thread since I’m 1/2 way thorough repairing the pump on Red Bull which is in the hands of the new owner. I also have a source for pump repairs for a reasonable cost in Melbourne thank to good mate Colin Mead. Pix n details to follow…

I believe Bill bought Motecs old 6.9 so Bill had 2 cars. One was being sold as a genuine AMG & the other was sent to a wrecker where it was likely crushed. No idea why the wrecker didn’t at least part it out

Well after at least 6 months of self inflicted pain & suffering, I finally moved out on 18/12/2023! Very close now to being debt free & no longer paying a lease for storing all my stuff, for the first time in at least a decade!!!

What a disgrace! Despite our best efforts it seems we were too late to save it & the stupid owners didn’t know its value

Current status is the redesign is complete & has been sent to the fabricator. With complexity being the main concern, the updated design may even perform better than the first concept. Now due to a lack of suitable material, the prototype will be constructed using alloy base and intermediate...

Well my plans have changed completely for Moby now, so he’ll be up for sale soon. At least he now has a full set of proper Bundts with alloy caps & I treated him to a good vac n wash today.
