    60 years of the 600

I believe sound levels were the reason DB adopted the system over electric for the windows. And possibly due to the load. The centre divider in cars fitted with it is pretty heavy.

The idea to use hydraulics for the comfort system came from a dentists chair. The supplier of the chairs had excess capacity of the mechanisms so offered it to DB.

The R in WR8DC stands for, you guessed it, resistor. You need W8DC. I may have a set I can spare, I'll check tomorrow

I've been chatting with him on FB messenger, he's doing really well. Recently bought a W204 C200 which he has co authored a piece in MBCNSW mag. Living happily on his own, well with his dog Louie, Newcastle way in an apartment.

    Patrick's W220 S430

From what I could find online the issue has been resolved, with the GR86 at least. Mines a May build so fix has been applied. I hope 🤞

I do apologise for no pics of the GR86, or the Kubota. I’ve been oversteering.

    Patrick's W220 S430

Pick up is scheduled for 11am 23rd, tomorrow morning, so I guess there is still the opportunity to quadruple my daily drivers cylinder count. Yeah, na. I'm looking forward to some go-kart fun and the kind of reliability peace of mind that comes with new cars, and new machinery in the factory...

I have the Pilates covered my way now, the climb up into the seat of the Kubota balances with the bend down into the GR. The heart very much said yes, and the head will be rewarded with a significant drop in running costs.
