The problem Tim is almost everyone has stopped making larger sizes in 16 inch . and AMG Penta rims are 16 inch. And standard 215/70R14 is almost impossible . well it is impossible as no one makes this size in speed and load rating for the 6.9 .

Watching the video Michelin tyres are made in Europe, China and North America.

The old days Michelin's were made in France my Dad's 240D W123 use to have Michelin's fitted to the car made in France.

Hate to think of the price for a set of Michelin's for the Bugatti Veyron featured in the video?

Bugatti can travel at 400km/h wow!

As said Tim post is about XWX alternatives . as you can no longer get tyres for a 6.9 that are legal for road use and insurance . As for Buggati $20000 a set road life 3000km as they only have 4mm tread depth which is minimum legal depth. Any more and tyre will over heat and explode at top speed. Interesting that at top speed tyre will explode after 20minutes running . Good thing it runs out of fuel after 12 minutes at top speed. Yes 12 minutes from full to empty.

$20K for a set of tyres for the Bugatti and they only last for 3000kms heck!

Hi Mark already done so reply was that is not the market they are catering for . They are suppling for offroad enthusiast . There words not mine. So will let you know how I go have couple of low volume tyre importers in Perth . Will chase up when car is getting painted.

Why did I know they'd say EXACTLY that?? What's the matter with them? They already have the supply chain in place and there's an opportunity to make money and expand.... Has the world gone mad? Any wonder this country is going backwards....
