Very interesting.... Ideas for the door pockets as well! But more questions than answers.... Electric seats?? Adjustable head lights? Headlight wipers on a W123? No A/C? GPS/sat nav? W126 steering wheel? No radio? 82km??? Could it be a factory display/show/development/concept car? WTF?

Not unusual to have climate specific options in cars Mark and this is why we dont see bum warmers so much here in Australia except for Peugeot and Renault.

Oh and as mentioned before In Europe because of far easier delivery and the time factor you can order your Benz with anything you like from the options book, even cross platform items if they apply.
