It is really quite surprising that the Company is still in business. Regarding the vehicle itself - for whatever reason, the "short-nose" version of the Finnies always appealed to me. Many years ago, I had a 190c (1959) which had fabulous handling on Olympic 'GT' Radials (anyone remember them ?), and I also owned a 'rusty' 250 (1965 ?), no 'S', no 'SE', just plain 250, with the very same short nose and it cornered like a dream - in fact, corners had disappeared. It was the best handling car I have ever owned or driven. Regards Styria

N.B. BTW, I wonder what size tyres the ambulance was fitted with ?

......any advances on this one - just stumbled across it. It still makes informative reading. Regards Styria

N.B. BTW, I think it was Ambulances that were first fitted with 15" Bundts - and maybe Police cars as well.
