Did anyone attend this event this year? I went and while it was good in that there is stuff for the whole family, I was fairly dissapointed in the event.

They had a much smaller collection of cars hemmed into a very small space and overzealous security guards preventing you from looking at them until the security was ready.

Thanks for documenting what used to be an easy car display day in heart of the city.
Moving it to Parramatta was going to change the whole ‘atmosphere’.
Thanks again for the great commentary and photography!

Yes, pretty disappointing. Spent less than 2 hours there. 3 Mercedes - a W108, and 2 x W116 - one of which a Crayford. Should have gone to Darling Harbour.

Nice array of cars on display.

The over zealous security does seem a bit over the top?!

It has been four or five years since I have been to Parramatta Park which use to the venue of the Concours.

Thank you for posting the photos Bryce.

Yes, I was there and to some extent, I share Craig S's view of quality of cars. A little disappointing, but what really got to me was the humidity and heat. Having had a knee replacement and some other various little ailments, the walk from Parramatta Station was something of an ordeal, but I managed. In the end, I picked myself up and sauntered back to the station to catch my T80 back to South Wentworthville.

I did take quite a few photos, and I have now transferred them onto my DCIM ? Camera ? and Oppo ? folders., and I will attempt to transfer some of the more desirable cars onto TK. I see that C107 in his usual proficient manner has already submitted quite a few pictures courtesy of his Classic Jalopy site, and for this I am greatly thankful. So here goes to add images to post ! Not much luck so far !

I will get it eventually. Regards Styria

Several, frustrating hours later, I decided to pinch a photo from C107s collection - I think it is a Buick and I say it is magnificent.
