    Sold: 1986 300SE W126

It drives beautifully, wonderfully smooth and that trademark inline 6 zzzzzzing when you're up it a bit. A real credit to Bryce. Ikey's going to have to be very careful when he gets his P's and watch the speed, it's deceptive. Very refined. He's a teenager, so a creature of few words, but he...

The proud new owner. Nice to have him in a safe, solid Automobile and peace of mind that it comes from a real enthusiast, we didn't even drive it, no need, it's been in the hands of c107 👍 And yes that is a smile, teenager style.

This will change soon, new laws in NSW allow a unattended vehicle to be removed and impounded after 28 days of no activity. Unregistered vehicles immediately (there is a notice period) This is welcome to styria and I. There is a smash repairer/towing yard next to us at Seven Hills who leaves...

    Patrick's Trucks ?

Yes, like those. And most had "Hiring" signs on the back that highlighted "98% of our drivers return home every night" I do hope that is due to operations not safety 😛 On the Hiring Signs, they were absolutely everywhere, from small convenience stores to hugh factory's Even the major hotel...

    Patrick's Trucks ?

"However American trucks don’t tow more than one trailer like we do, A Double, B Double, Road Trains" I've just done a "road trip" from Chicago to NYC after the M-100 group meet. On the interstates there were plenty of double trailer trucks and the occasional triple. Not like our B doubles with...

I read them as well but am in the same boat as Bryce. Although we have a 2010 model it's a hilux, old tech and fully serviceable.

    No longer Truck Like

99 Pump fuel would be a godsend for the 6.3, they are renowned for pinging on modern fuels. I tried an octane booster from Auto One but it was very expensive and contained toluene, which the rubber fuel lines aren't exactly fond of.

How and where to obtain service history for W116

I think that's a function of facebook, there are so many on there with opinions any question asked generally gets a response almost instantly so folk have lost patience with posting on a forum and waiting a few days to receive a response, even though the forum response is probably factual while...

    Tesla 4680 Battery

I bought a 36V chainsaw to tide me over while my petrol unit was in for service. It's 99% as capable and 200% more convenient. And you get about 2.5 hours battery life, not continuous but working time. I'm not sure a battery ride on would be yet up to the task of acres though

    Tyres

Michel I didn’t ask about any price difference, or in fact the price. The local mechanic I use for all my cars, and Mums and Dads, fitted them and I trust him implicitly. 😎
