The std 6.3 was also configured with main runners feeding same side primary runners. The race manifold used a cross ram design, which is more desirable for high torque. The std intake also incorporated injectors protruding into the airstream (which is far from desirable), however I have no idea...

As many would say (including myself) having a spare car when building a project car is invaluable for many reasons apart from the obvious storage issue! Well done & never give up!

What’s also amazing about the Mampe race car is it ran an auto trans!! Yet it still was competitive with the other Euro Touring Cars!
