    $a100k - 450sel 6.9

I guess it had to happen sooner, than later - a 58K. Euro 6.9 for sale by the Classic Centre at Hanover. Found on a website, an old friend of TK and featured previously probably about two to three years ago. There are seven pages of various models for sale, and I am referring to 107s and 116s...

    Cars in Cuba

Yes, time has stood still - I also have some videos on life in Cuba, which I am hoping to download to TK in the near future. There is just one little matter that's got me worried - if and when Cuba opens up its borders, there'll be hundreds of cashed up Yanks wanting to get inthere and grab the...

    Lancia Appia Zagato

Unmistakeable Zagato styling, typical Italian shape of the'50s. Quite a gorgeous little car - also, think of this. Narrow angle V4 engine in those days - how advanced were they ? Regards Styria

    Bugatti and Setright

Some very frank observations by that doyen of motoring journalists, namely L. J. K. Setright. The 57 Atlanta Coupe featured not so long ago on a trip from London to Geneva. What an exquisite car. Regards Styria

    Daimler vs. New Yorker

The Daimler stands for Majestic Major, with the Turner 4.5 litre V8, whilst the New Yorker stands for Chrysler. I have always liked the styling of the Daimler with its smooth, yet characteristic lines that remind me of the Sunbeam Rapier (a much smaller car) , whilst the rear lenses treatment is...

    Alfa 1900 Zagato

Quite a barn find - it's probably the sort of thing that one may hope to experience one day. Regards Styria

    Fast Enough - Exotics

Fascinating reading and comparisons. Please enjoy, and maybe start dreaming. Regards Styria

    Speed in the '30s

Also titled "A matter of life and death". A wonderful look at back in the thirties. I haven't read the article properly, but just have a look at the pose of Sir Malcolm Campbell - it seems rather snobbish, yet non-chalant. The Queen Mary - what a great shot, and full of interest, considering...

    Mechatronic Mercedes

At least one of them, the Coupe, has already featured in the pages of TK. This PDF is a test and/or assessment of both the Coupe and an SL280 model. Regards Styria

    Lancia Stratos

Build Date 2010 - with some Ferrari underpinnings - basically, a body recreation, with all the charisma and folklore that would be lavished on a genuine Stratos - with some reservations. Regards Styria

    2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo

There is indeed a lot to be said about this Hyundai. I must admit that, in some colours, the styling is somewhat aggressive and ill conceived. However, change it to Black, as in this video, and it really does look classy. Regards Styria https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vVOA21n2hA

    Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio

Just absolutely dead gorgeous. 2010 model. Regards Styria

    Peugeot SR 1

Looks like Peugeot are really going places - mind you, the RCZ Coupe is already a stunner, but this one packs some very impressive specifications. Regards Styria

    2012 A - Class

Apparently, it is essentially based on a platform of the 2011 B-Class, and there is mention of a BLS-Class, and an SUC Class. It couldn't be more confusing, could it, and whatsmore, why would you bother to have both an A and A B-Class ? Anyway, that's what's being said, and who am I to argue ...

    2010 Ford Focus

A good, and informative run-down, with a little bit of Golf features thrown in for good measure. Regards Styria

    Rolls Royce Ghost

This is not the Ghost of 1911, but more like February, 2010. Never mind, it is just as nice to get an insight into a product produced under the tutelage of BMW.

Golf 'R' vs. Megane 250 Cup

Two of the very best, and fastest hatches, with a bit of Porsche GT3 thrown in. Indeed exulted company going toe to toe. Which is the winner ?

    SUV - Road to Copenhagen

Not sure what the heading from the magazine was all about - as we all should, or would, know by now, Copenhagen was an unmitigated disaster. However, that should not detract from the road testing of most of the upmarket four wheel drives. Some interesting reading. Regards Styria

    1953 Ferrari 250 Europa

Just incredibly beautiful, wonder how much it would fetch ? I think there is a hint of an early Lamborghini styling. Regards Styria http://uncrate.com/stuff/1953-ferrari-250-europa-coupe-vignale/

    Fiat Abarth 500

I think it does indeed have a 1.4 litre engine (not 500cc) and it does seem overpriced in this country. Plus, I have probably ridiculed it a bit for its Fiat heritage, but the performance by three of the little 'critters' in the recent Bathurst 12 hourl respect must be extended to them. Cute...
