Here’s another W126 door card that has the factory sound system upgrade. Pity we never got them in Australia. It doesn’t seem an ideal location to me since the mid range speaker is firing at the side of the seat base:

Great way to incorporate a boost gauge into the factory W126 cluster on a turbo 500SEL! And I noticed it also has a late model steering wheel fitted. Anyone know if the splines are the same??

Well despite me saying the air suspension could be a future issue the ol man buys one (a couple of years ago now) & of course now the inevitable happens. Apparently almost random deflation’s rendering it almost undriveable. Enq made by his mechanic MB still offer struts but only on exchange ex...

I don’t know much about it, but I’m in love!! Probably not great as a street engine, but it looks great standing still!!!
