By comparison, the Holley 750DP square bore which I believe was fitted to the XYGT used 4 x 1 11/16” (approx 43mm) barrels. So the 6.9 uses an exhaust which has 1/2 the flow capability of a 5.8!!

Just ordered one of these which is the size they should’ve been in the beginning. It will be tested on both the 560 & 6.9 (with EFI) since in won’t fit under the Kjet & is too big for the stock manifolds even after machining.

Note that figure is four into one (the collector) on each bank/side. Not to be confused with individual exhaust ports.... At not even 2” per side it can be seen that even changing an exhaust system from the manifolds back will not increase power or torque significantly unless the existing system...

Totally shocking info discovered that the 6.9 and 420 have the same size exhaust collectors at 43mm!! In fact the 420 has a larger intake (throttle plate)!!
