    Car of the week

This 450SE is back on ebay again. Looks like it had a lot of money spent on it. Not a huge fan of the colour, but very 70s period. https://www.ebay.com.au/i/233331690568

    USA Car shows/museums

    2018 Dodge Challenger R/T

I've been driving this Dodge for the last couple of days. It's a lot of fun and nothing beats the instant torque of a big v8. the car companies are trying to tell us we want smaller turbo engines. I say no! For the price they pay, this is a lot of car, even if it has...

    The Rover P5/P5B

Interestingly even Jaguar had their limits. During the development of the 420, they decided that the BW35, which they had recently placed behind the 3.8 liter in the S-Type and MKII instead of the DG was not robust enough for the 4.2 liter engine and so they went with the BW8. I understand...

    W124 1995 e280

The wiring harness is the big one on these. They are biodegradable and they do biodegrade! Sounds like work has been done, so if the engine harness is done that is the one that most needs it. I think 1995 is still M104 engine, which is known for head gaskets.

    The Rover P5/P5B

I find the best P6 model a conundrum - the P3500S has the best spec, but I feel the earlier cars are far better. Better built, better looking, nicer interiors etc. In some ways for a very early 3500 with a 5 speed transmission swap out of a rover SD1 may be the ideal P6.

    Custom Ford Mustang

Spotted in a swanky hotel car park in Bangkok. I was there for dinner at the rooftop restaurant with a customer. Not the first car I would have imagined with such a paint job
