    The Rover P5/P5B

This was for sale a few months back and featured on this thread: http://www.topklasse.org/forums/showpost.php?p=71193&postcount=108 The previous ad had more photos. the exterior is excellent but I wans't particularly impressed with the seats. Still, for a coupe in NZ$ the price is quite good.

    Car of the week

You can avoid the SBC brakes if you only buy certain years. Helmet outlined them on the s211 thread when I purchased that car. He mentioned it was in 2007 that they were deleted. http://www.topklasse.org/forums/showpost.php?p=64924&postcount=6

    Car of the week

It's a bit much for me, but I do applaud the original owner for going beyond the colours that were on offer at the time.

    The Rover P5/P5B

Found this description of the development of the car, which was quite interesting: https://www.aronline.co.uk/cars/rover/rover-p5-review/the-cars-rover-p5/ Styria, this paragraph may be of interest to you: In terms of powering the P5, the original plan of introducing it with a new engine...

Removing chrome grill from water box housing W116

Hi Jim, For the central locking, it can be handy to have some golf tees to plug up bits of the system as you test them with your vacuum pump. a common culprit is the diaphragms of the little units in the doors. to post images, see this thread for some more info...

    The Rover P5/P5B

I'll probably look to get something else in a couple of months. Right now, I want to get the rest of them working well. The DS needs the last trim being put back on, as well as door cards Jag needs new temperature sensor and fan relay and to get it running again Still got a bit more work...

    The Rover P5/P5B

I was talking to Syria the other day about the differences in the crankshafts of 3 liter engines set up for the DG gearbox vs those set up for a manual trans or a borg warner 35. I had read they were different and seen a photo a while ago but could not find it. Now i've found the photos...

    The Rover P5/P5B

I think you'll get on well with Syria, he is converting three rover P5s from Automatic to manual. If I recall his antipathy is saved for the BW35 in the MKIII and the P5B rather than the DG in the earlier cars.

    The Rover P5/P5B

I guess the answer is Marketing. Rover wanted to bring out a more 'racy' (for them) version of their car, so they chose the coupe terminology. In terms of the dictionary definition, it fits, but it doesn't fit the generally accepted definition. Having said that Mercedes later copied this...

    The Citroen DS

This is one of the nicest D-Super's that I've seen. The D-Super is a rare model in Australia, it was only brought here for a couple of years. For one reason or another Citroen brought in the D-Special, but made it more like a D-Super instead of bringing in the D-Super and then the top DS...

    W116 blower motor series resistor

This isn't quite what you're asking but this thread shows the location of the blower motor. At least on the w126 and the 107, the resistor is close to the blower motor. On the 107 it is on the end of the cable that the motor plugs in, and on the W126 it is in the same housing...

    Car of the week

This is quite a nice 380SEC. I don't mind these wheels although the aftermarket steering wheel needs to go. I would replace it with an original or a nardi unit. https://www.lloydsonline.com.au/LotDetails.aspx?smode=0&aid=11919&lid=1832997&pgn=1&pgs=100

    Car of the week

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mercedes-W124-320ce-1993/173868824114 I think these CE's are pretty good cars. The main issue with these late W124 is the biodegradable wiring harness. Could be a good buy for somebody if that work is done.

    Car of the week

Michel, As you're in the bodyshop industry, you may be able to comment but my assumption is that to create such a thing would be quite an expensive exercise, much more expensive than fixing the front of the W111 coupe properly. So now you have a 111 coupe that is worth half of what it should...
