    Interesting Registration Plates

Although I am not a great fan of personalised plates because of the ongoing annual fee, I could not resist RRM1 for the Spirit. When the Spirit was first unveiled to the public it bore the plates RRM1 so I figured it was quite appropriate to use.

    Rover P5 MK1 vs Wolseley 6/99

At the same as having the FIAT 2300 Lusso, I had a several Lancia Beta Coupes - the fastest of which was the 1975 1800 Coupe in Green similar to this one. And at the same time I had a Flavia Milleotto LX which was a light and delicate car of unbeliveable manouverability. The standard Milleotto...

    Rover P5 MK1 vs Wolseley 6/99

And from the same styling house but technically a very superior vehicle; the FIAT 2300. I used one as an everyday vehicle in the late 1908s and it was a superbly comfortable car with excellent road-holding. Sadly, I sold it in 1992 to help fund the purchase of a house. Regards, Brian

Replacement of four doors - 6.9

It's simple. New tyres are urgently required if you are breaking traction so easily in the wet. Imagine how you will go with a full on panic stop. Regards, Brian

    The new ML

ML320 V6 diesel. Part of the attraction was regular verified oil changes. One I looked at of a similar age had 3 vefied oil changes over the same period! Bt the way, it has only one role to fulfill; that of dog carrier so that will limit the mileage it is expected to do. Regards, Brian

    Car of the week

The asking price is only a starter for negotiation, as is always the case. As much as I like green I do have enough to look after with 5 cars at home and 2 elsewhere. Just ensuring the tyres have correct inflation and the batteries are charged is almost a full time job. Another would amount to...

    The new ML

Hello Styria - 2009 and 150,000 kms. Let's say that the purchase price was far less than the asking price. The seller had a live buyer and was keen to sell. Suffice to say that some MLs at twice the price still had issues that could prove expensive and I wanted to avoid the later models with...

    The new ML

COVID has delayed a number of minor parts including the circuit board for the wiring harness to the tow bar. It's also meant some mechanics are still off work. I'm not short of cars so I can afford to be patient.

    Ferguson Four wheel Drive

The styling is timeless - my idea of good style is that it never looks dated and the lines are resolved. The Jensen fils those criteria for me. Regards, Brian
