If I want to get really silly Mark who did supercharging on my Onetonner has offered to do the same on my 6.9. But that would mean leaving 8.8 compression for Forced Induction.

Are the new Pistons shorter or lighter than std ones??

They are latest tech from CP/Carrillo so yes they are lighter would need to confirm with South Side Engines as its been a few years but Piston/Rod set is around 150g lighter each. These parts were ordered originally to exceed 500 Horse power so with new tech like FrankenCIS I believe I will pass that figure . I will post all parts and specs along with cost as I go along with results. Engine is being removed last week of March. First is Billet throttle body $1063.70 each with 3 ordered as 1 has been spoken for and sold. Reason is 1 was $1980 so 2 leaves me only $147.40 out of pocket till second one is sold. This is CNC Machining price no mark up from me. Shipping on top. Only mods required will be boring lower plenum and Silicon Turbo pipe as joiner will give size and length when fitted. It is direct bolt on otherwise as it is CAD Scan copy of 6.9 throttle body. I will post pictures when I receive it. Same as FrankenCIS while engine is out Torqu converter being sent to Dkubus for strengthening and higher stall mods which include fixing spline issues. I cant give accurate price on Crank/Piston/Rods set as that was bought 5 years ago in 2010 where did that go. But was around 6K at the time. Hope I have everyone's attention now few other things minor I will attend to before driving over . Then pictures off paint work will need to be posted by another forum member who know's . That will be the plan it works fine now. So don't need to fix it changed flex disc when extractors were done so they are good. Not much else until I work it out as I go along.

Ok here is first update. Its only initial CAD Scans for lathe but you can see its taking shape.

Last post has the scanned images of the 65mm 6.9 throttle body. That is to be made from billet on a CNC Lathe it will be 85mm with same bolt pattern and geometry as a standard throttle. Will post pictures of the completed throttle as well as . The motor in stages of its build . It comes out in just on 3 weeks time. To be returned as a 7.6 litre .

Ok I can confirm things are about to get interesting . Confirmed order today for FrankenCIS tuneable WUR . Should have it in 2 to 3 weeks same as 85mm Throttle body. Will post pictures when I get both items. Engine gets removed in a few weeks. While this is going on . I will fly east to find a rental. As I will need new work history to buy a house. Which I will start looking for after I move and start new job in Canberra . Its casual for now so will find extra work till full time position comes up.

On a serious note, most of us are watching with great interest and not commenting much as you obviously have done your homework.
