Removed the rego sticker on Saturday.

Did I do the right thing I threw away in RTA sticker in the bin?

I do have the RTA rego papers in the glovebox.

Thanks Michel.

I was a bit nervous about removing and throwing away the RTA sticker.

But now it is the new Law as of January 2013 no more RTA stickers are to be displayed on your car windscreen or LH rear passenger side window.

Exactly, unless you have Club Rego and Club Plates (historic rego) and you must affix the label they will give you.
You renewal for normal rego will come without a label.

Michel how much does the Club Rego and Historic plates cost per year?

Historical rego is only available for cars that are over 30 years old is that correct?

Yes RTA rego renewal arrived in the mail without a RTA rego sticker.

Yes 30 years and it and can be used on limited occasions, club outings, mechanical work, short test drives, etc.
First rego you pay around $45 for plates and $50 rego and then it's $50 per year only!

Thank you Michel.

Well the 300SE would not be eligible for Historic plates as the car is not 30 years old.
