What a complex process and how easy it would be to get the screen done incorrectly. Although it is not a difficult process, it is one requiring care and there is a number of points in the process where a nick in the paint could introduce rust if not repaired.
I can understand why replacing a bonded screen is an expensive job if done properly and certainly it's not a job for an amateur company that might fail to repair paint nicks.
It makes me stop and think about who I would get to replace a bonded screen...
