Well, since we don’t manufacture cars locally, they had to source them from somewhere.
Most police wanted E63s, but they were way too expensive and BMW always drops everything to be selected in any type of contest.
The Chrysler 300 is as close as an Aussie car would’ve been (V8-RWD) and KIA’s Stinger is a fast and very affordable vehicle.

‘Interceptor’ criteria is based on many factors and not purely speed or agility. If it was based on looks the Kia or new ‘Commodore’ wouldn’t get my vote!

I wouldn’t rule out the Benzes for Victoria sometime in the future... But it could be a while off since the BMWs haven’t even arrived yet!
