Last year at the M100 group Lodefest in Lodi CA there was a 350SL W107, chassis number 000002 that had a 6.3 conversion from new, it was purchased and delivered direct to the shop that did the conversion.

And I didn't get a photo It was a Euro with normal bumpers

This is reasonably priced at 10K US. Which is probably fair as it looks like it needs some work But it would be a fun car t import.

The bumpers can be replaced with European/Aussie ones.

It just doesn't quite look right (side view), and the under bonnet appearance is ghastly. Looks like a car that needs fully sorting, and probably even then will never be a user friendly car. Regards Styria

Could not agree more Styria, it looks a mess... a bundle of trouble. But suits the Yanks.. a point and squirt machine.

Yes it is clear it is not sorted from the pictures but 10k sounds about right for what's there. I think it would be a fun toy. I notice the badge has been taken care off.
