    The Rover P5/P5B

Have spotted a Mark III Sedan with the very rare four speed with overdrive gearbox. https://www.facebook.com/groups/roverp5p6australia/permalink/1271144196395164/ Interesting car, this one. Firstly, it has the later models Rostyle (stands for Mag look alike) wheels that were fitted to the V8...

    Car of the week

This is one car that merits more than just a fleeting glance. On the surface, it appears excellent value - certainly at this stage. Regards Styria...

    Car of the week

Interior shows the right patina, those wheels really lend a very elegant look to the car. Fair price. Regards Styria

    1956 Cadillac V Packard

Michel, I really like it. Such an unusual shape, but it does remind me a little of some current Bentley and Rolls Royce models. The highish aspect of the grille could be improved a little - otherwise, O.K. Regards Styria

    Rover 3500S Rebuild

Michel, I have endeavoured to apply that same colour combination to my 3 litre MarkIII Coupe, with the combination of Almond Rover Colour) and Cream, which is a Ford Colour - supposedly. You have probably seen pics of my Mark III in some of the posts already. Regards Styria N.B. Bear in...

    Rover 3500S Rebuild

All being what it seems on the surface, at the guiding price range it would be well priced. There are a few items under the bonnet that don't quite add up to the photographic nice car it appears to be. I like the paint colour which is reasonably rare. A fairly significant issue is the...

    Magazines, Magazines.........

I have been collecting Car Magazines and Books for many a years, spanning back to the early '70s - maybe even earlier. Anyway, I have decided to place them on the open market. Initially to any of my fellow TK members, to be followed by advertising on ebay. The magazines on offer are...

    Patrick”s 560SEL

I stand to be corrected, but I suspect that the red unit is a later model ? Regards Styria

    Patrick”s 560SEL

Hi Patrick, this has probably already been answered, so I might be doubling up. Not sure if every Mercedes was fitted with the Fire Extinguisher, but most W116s and W126s had them as standard equipment. If you are short of bracket and/or Extinguisher, I would be able to help you. Regards Styria

My 1964 Rover Mark IIA Coupe

Some wonderful photos of many Rovers as seen on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/307883176279118/photos/a.307887002945402/712235855843846/?type=3&theater&ifg=1 Regards Styria

    Stag

Perhaps not everyone is familiar with this product. I went to two stores, namely Repco and Autobarn located at Dural in NSW, and initially two salesmen (one at each store) had never heard of the product. I had used this product many years ago when I was rebuilding Rover V8s, as well as the 3...

    Sold for $79K?

Mark, is there any reason for your sceptism regarding the sale price ? Personally, whilst that Silver Blue (?) was a particularly popular colour, I always though it lacked "life". Regards Styria

    Car of the week

Aren't they just such beautiful cars - for the Shannons price of $5000.00 for a 1956 Vespa - and, you don't even get that Italian beauty hanging off the pillion with both legs dangling over the side. Regards Styria

    Car of the week

Hi Bryce, how did you guys get on with the sale of the Coupe - as you said, it looks a little rough, but those 280CEs are really quite a desirable model. Regards Styria

My 1964 Rover Mark IIA Coupe

I managed to acquire this car, an absolute favourite of mine (it was !), back in 1971 for $1300.00. I spotted the car, initially in all white livery, somewhere at Artarmon from a carpenter by the name of J. K. Culpan. I still have the original agreement of sale. I just had to have the car - it...

    Rover 3500S Rebuild

Nice to hear from you David. For the unknowing, David is slaving away in Europe to try and maintain his lavish lifestyle. The lucky bugger, he never offered to take me along. :p Now, getting back to tin tacs, so to speak. The next three pics show my 1966 Mark III, with its now all too familiar...

    Rover 3500S Rebuild

I have forgotten whose Ch. 109 (6.3 - 3.5) was sitting in front of my garage. Well spotted by yourself, it is indeed a 450SEL parked across the road. That was a car owned by the second in charge of the Mount Kosciosko (that doesn't look right so please forgive me) trust. I met him when we went...

    Rover 3500S Rebuild

Well, I have often referred to my 1975 Rover 3500S that was involved in an accident more than ten years ago. I have now some pictures on hand shrtly after the car was written off. Luckily enough, the other party was insured with the NRMA, and they were prepared to pay me $9000.00 after...
