This is the aftermarket system on her now. The engine pipes are pretty stuffed but I won’t have time to replace them before the cruise so the exhaust mob will have to undertake a temporary repair...

This exhaust section is off a 500SEL, but is probably the same for 560SEL. Note the balance / crossovers in the kidney muffler section. Obviously left and right banks are not kept separate all the way to the outlets.

Turned out rather nice n sparkly!! They’re now working on the exhaust tips, since they won’t be easily removable once fitted.

You have to remove both headlights to replace the front cells...

Are they the same or different types hence the spacer at the bottom of the PSF?
