Not 100% sure, but I think you could use the wheels from an earlier E-Class with 17s.

I think probably yes. Its a lovely car, but it has 300,000km and a green interior is really polarizing. With a rare car you can always get somebody who is desperate for a particular example, but I think he's a lot higher than the market will bear.

Looks like a big job, but not impossible. These cars are becoming thin on the ground, especially the early ones so good to see another being saved.
