I think it would be easier to remove the bonnet and work from on top. However, you would need a second pair of hands to help remove it.

I regret selling it... I loved that car and everytime I got into it, it was like an old pair of trousers or shoes..very comfy. My accounts dept pushed me into getting it off the books. :rolleyes: :oops:

I agree totally with Pat. On the smart powertrain and on the Carnival! I had the new Kia Carnival for testing in late January and it was a pleasure to drive, almost the same characteristics as a large SUV except for the leaning on corners, where you know you're driving a van and not a sports...

Sadly, diesel is on the way out in cars with the advent of hybrids and EVs. Within a few years it'll be outlawed in Europe and then reseach into more refinement will cease totally.

I have a set of spec saver 'old age' glasses: multi focal, transitional and polarised. Didn't know there we levels or polarisation in glasses.

Godfather, The Red Terror needs to be looked at. It's been ignored for too long. I think the plugs need looking at or replaced and I want to take it for a long drive before I go in public with it. I have spent a few hours today washing and claying the CLK320 convertible and will turn up tomorrow...
