Looking more closely, there is other stuff wrong with it too. The base car was obviously not a pallas model, but they have added some of the easier pallas embellishments, but not the ones that take a bit more work to fit. They've also done things to try and make it look like an earlier...

This one is a fake - looks generally well done, but started with a sedan base frame, not a station wagon frame like the real ones did. It has a sedan VIN too and no decapatable DS23s were made.... sometimes the fakes if done well still bring good money because so few of the real ones were...

Since this thread I have seen a couple of FF's at various cars and coffee events in sydney. There are at least two around, one is more stock and one is set up as a racer with roll cage etc.

That is my next test, assuming this does not fix it. Since the filters are basically maintenance items I wanted to change the out first before I started on troubleshooting the system, especially as it felt like the car wasn't getting enough fuel.

I had hoped the fuel tank screen and filter would be all clogged up. they were dirty, but not all that bad. I've seen cars run properly with worse filters for example. My new screen and hose should arrive soon, so i'll put it all together and see.

that's a good finding, and interesting given how different the m117 cams are. Makes me think the M100 cams are probably optimized for low end torque, which suits the nature of the engine and is also good for emissions. You could probably get a cam that sacrifices some of that low end torque...

Still listed! The advantage of this car is that it should have the full 185hp M110, not the detuned engine of the later cars.
