    The Rover P5/P5B

In the theme of rough P5 Coupe's coming into the market here is the latest. This one is a better proposition than the last but would still need extensive refurbishment to body and wood, no mention of mechanicals: "1962 Rover P5 3.0L Mark 2 $4,000 4506 Regrettable sale, meant to be a bit of a...

    The Rover P5/P5B

Now contrast this MKIIC similar to the one I sold styria. This guy wants $1,000 and its probably worse than my old one: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rare-1966-rover-coupe-low-kms-CAN-DELIVER-no-reserve-/253511450570?roken=eLe0Nf

    The Rover P5/P5B

There is a rather nice P5B Coupe on carsales. Makes that blue one that went for about $14,000 at the flynn auction a real rip off compared to this one at $19,990. https://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Rover-35-LT-1969/OAG-AD-15782645

    Car of the week

This weeks car is a very clean Petrol blue 450SE, a rather under-rated colour. While the condition of the drivers seat cannot be ascertained due to the sheepskins, the rest of the car is quite nice (not perfect, but nice). I would be happy to have it in my garage (sans wheel arch trims)...

    The Citroen DS

https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Citroen-DS-23-1973/SSE-AD-5310651/?Cr=1 This is a good honest DS23 for sale. This car is owned by a club member near me and while this car is not perfect, it's a car that can be enjoyed as is, or spend a bit of money to do some cosmetic work...

    2018 Shannons Sydney Autumn auction

The auction room is only a few bus stops from my office, so I went down at lunchtime to have a look: http://www.classicjalopy.com/2018/03/2018-shannons-sydney-autumn-classic-preview/

    The Rover P5/P5B

The Saloon looks nice with the two tone paint you added. That Lagonda is an impressive machine. Granted 1450 pounds was a lot of moneyh in 1964, but that car I am sure is worth a lot today. I wonder if any of those three saloons ended up at the flynn auction? There were a few 3 liter...

    The Rover P5/P5B

I certainly can't top the 3am/4am posts! Its funny how even similar cars can have a big impact on this. For example, the W116 looks great in yellow whereas I think the W126 looks rather silly in yellow, like a big banana. I understand why car companies moved to the soft visors, but the...

    The Rover P5/P5B

I think you made the right choice changing from the white to the admiralty blue. The colour scheme of the MKIII is rather dignified and I don't think white suits the P5 - especially the coupe with the large painted areas compared to windows etc. Good to see the photo from way back when...

    1990 560SEC - The last panzerwagon

http://totalcarmagazine.com/classicandbeloved/2013/06/10/mercedes-benz_560_sec_1990/ It wasn’t the biggest of all S-Classes (that title goes to the next one in the row) but for many it was the best. And at the pinnacle of the Mercedes line-up of the 80’s sat this car. The big coupe with the...

Rover P5 Classic Review: https://www.tradeuniquecars.com.au/news/1703/rover-p5-–-today’s-budget-tempter These are big luxurious cars – big enough to carry four six-footers in comfort - much favoured by the former Queen Mother in the UK, who is said to have ordered two when she heard...

    Rover 3500S Rebuild

Looks great Styria. I'm sure with all the parts from the wrecked car you will turn that cheap flynn 3500S into something really nice. Please keep the updates coming.

    The Citroen DS

This one is a nice example of a late production DS. https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Citroen-DS-23-1974/SSE-AD-5174813/?Cr=6 The DS23 i.e. was the most powerful. This one comes equipped with a borg warner 35 automatic which is common in Australia but very rare worldwide. Citroen...

    The Citroen DS

This is an interesting car. Rather rare as it started out life the same as my car, a 1970 DS21 BVH (Non Pallas). However it has been highly modified over the years, including a partial pallasization. The price seems high to me for such a modified car but overall I like it...

    The Rover P5/P5B

The Jag manual gearbox is great. I have it in my E-Type 4.2. a 3.8S with a manual+OD is a nice find as many were BW automatic instead. As the S type is a sports sedan the auto doesn't really fit it's character as much as the manual+OD

    The Citroen DS

Good example of an early french built ID19. Being a 1960 model this would have been one of the last french built cars (imported here) before Australian production started: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Citroen-DS-French-built-1960-ID19-sedan/302619749328 These cars have a dedicated following...
