Refurbishing aircleaners

Well that's a W124 Des, so not sure how the sticker placement compares to other cars.

Good point Ryan, I assumed, incorrectly that it would be in the same spot,
only other picture I have is of a W126 aircleaner on a W116, with it in the middle

I can't recall exactly what it cost me to have one of mine powder coated, but it was much less than $100 and they do all the stripping. I didn't do the zinc plating, but you can get a bucket load of old nuts and bolts done for about $40 so it would not cost more than a couple of dollars.

A rub back to bare metal and a few coats of glossy black does wonders...
