It takes a bit to comprehend that this Volkswagen Phaeton is almost ten years old. I realize that the styling, especially front on, could be more in keeping with today's techno design standards - really, it is a little plain, but nevertheless very neat and compact.
What makes this car for me is the interior. Its beauty is and obvious quality are quite astonishing - it's just a matter of looking at the centre console, as well as the instrument panel, instruments and the switch gear - all outstanding and, as I said, now almost ten years on from manufacture. The rest of the interior is also brilliant - just the design of seats, and again all the functions that make this car very special. To my mind, anyway. I hope you will enjoy this fairly lengthy video.

N.B. Follow up test, of the turbo charged version. Again, its interior beauty is exceptional. With this car, however, I do think that the colour of the upholstery detracts from the car. Nevertheless.......
