Secure Sites

I have had an issue with the Login to an online bank account I opened...it kept showing an insecure symbol instead of the Lock Symbol. Eventually sorted .
But I see that the Topklasse Login has the insecure symbol ?????
Not that it is a great concern .. but just curious.

Topklasse is not set up to use HTTPS (Secure access to websites) as the data inside of it is not sensitive.

How do you know all this ? I am so glad to have you on my side. BTW, at one stage a few days ago Benz Boy referred to "Bots" being responsible for a high number of "hits" on the Rover P5B, but did not respond when I posed the question f why other threads did not attract the same response - are you able to elaborate ? Bot is basically a computer that is not being driven directly by a person.
There are good bots and bad ones. The good ones are driven by companies like google who need to read the content of websites on a regular basis to keep their search engine updated. They will regularly read every page on a website.

The bad ones are spammers and hackers. They want to find poorly secured sites and break into them, to then use the system for their own purposes. They will write bots that try and use brute force approaches to log into systems as well as other ways to try and take over sites. Some want to fill up websites like TK with ads for viagra etc. others want to take it over to send spam emails about nigerian monies. etc etc.
