Hi Michel, what a great concept - of course, you've got to have numbers (which they do) and, of course, the collectability ensures that they will never be short of enthusiasts, AND money people. It has been said that the roadster is a superior car, especially in the suspension department (different rear), but I also prefer the looks of the 300SL.
Again I say this - take yourself back to, was it 1954, that the Gullwing was introduced, a mere nine years after WWII. Even better still, the 300SLR (Uhlenhaut's 8 cyl. marvel) saw the light of day in 1952. Regards Styria
