I have finally sorted, both with Allianz ( for a Replacement Car ) and also the Pros and Cons of DSG Auto Boxes used by VW.

VW 6 speed Autos use wet Clutches and are much more robust than the later 7 Speed Dry Clutch Types.

The 6 Speeds wet clutch types are found behind the higher H.P. Engines.

I have elected to stick with a 6 Speed Manual as before.

The 90 KW Engines come with a 7 Speed Automatic. Very complex units and big $$$$ to repair.
And at this stage the general Auto Trans. Repairers know little about them.
