Believe it or not, it took more than a casual look for me to realize that the car pictured is in fact a 6.9 - not only that, but its condition is quite exemplary. It is evident that the car's owner is quite fastidious in getting and maintaining the car's condition to its present level and beyond. Looking at the lustre and shine of the leather upholstery indicates plenty of conditioning of the leather being subject to, and one can easily forgive the slight degradation of the pleats of the front seats. 6.9s invariably experience significant problems with the upholstery of the rear seat cushion, but the photographs do not show that area. Bryce, any details of location of this meet as there are obviously quite a number of participants ?
I also noticed the increased rear height clearance of the suspension and this can be corrected fairly easily by adjusting the length of the levelling rod on the rear suspension valve.
There are a couple of interesting details under the bonnet but, all in all, this is a splendid car. Regards Stgyria

This photo was taken at the MB Club event celebrating 140 years of Mercedes-Benz and the new S-Class.
There were two 6.9s on display on the day.

Thank you Bryce. Great to see such a variety of models on display. As a matter of interest, did you manage to snap a picture of the other 6.9 - if not, do you recall what colour it was ? BTW, what is the proper spelling of colour - this one or color. I am confused. Regards Styria
