N.B. Maybe, just maybe Benz Boy, your Phantom is the only one left in the world now ? The sister car may have suffered some fete, perhaps vermin destruction, who knows ? That would make yours more valuable. Just a thought.

Not the only Phantom left. There were 1402 PIIs and 278 PII Continentals made Styria; many still exist. The claim to fame is that this was the last model designed by Sir Henry himself before he passed on and the Continental was his own idea.
I have no doubt that 136PY exists still. Vermin would not have destroyed the wooden frame as it was re-framed in the early 1980s by a highly respected restorer in the US. Mine still carries the original ash frame in good order.
I suspect 136PY lives in a private collection - as do many, and that it will only come to light when the current owner moves on ....

Very nice indeed! I have been able to ascertain that 136PY went from auction in 2001 into a private collection which has not since seen the light of day. The owner is such a recluse his name is unknown.
Bugger!!
By the way, 118PY is also photographed in the same book.
