450SEL for sale

[Oversize]

This ones in Victoria and the bids (from 14 individuals) are heading up already. The interior's not too bad and I'd say it's a D-Jet with no pollution gear. Gotta love that old-style radio!!

Aerial is on the back, staining above driver on sunroof trim panel, rear seat does look well used and at a guess the right bolster of the drivers seat has collapsed.

May well be a K jet car too.

A long time ago, it would have been someone's pride and joy - well worn and somewhat unloved nowadays. I'd daresay the under bonnet section would be messy. Just the way I see the car. Regards Styria

Just an observation Brian but 74 and before S class all seem to have the original radio aerials mounted on the front guards.

My 77 450 has it left rear as did the 4 others I looked at that were K jet cars.

Whereas the 74 450 has it mounted right front as does the 280S.

A Honkers import I looked at had it mounted left front and it was a 74.

Right front is a PITA BTW but a hole is not an easy thing to move.

Im pretty much with you on this Styria, Its not that the car is misrepresented but more enthusiastically advertised.

I see this a bit with S class cars when the great unwashed masses see $$$$ signs when selling old Mercedes.
