Well it did start, but that's about all. One ought to save the mechanicals such as engine, gearbox and diff., and possibly some of the suspension components. TJ 450 in WA certainly appears to be the "lucky" finder, but he has his head screwed on the right way and the car will find its way to the crushers. Even though 6.9s are going up in value, this one is really beyond saving. Regards Styria
Starting an engine after so long is not an easy or quick process if you want to avoid major engine damage. Changing all the fluids & filters is just the beginning. Rust & corrosion are the main enemies you have to fight with constantly. Just one unexpected problem was a seized water pump... not fun!
