Whats wrong with a gas conversion
It's false economy: lousy fuel consumption that partly erodes the lower per-litre price, extra wear on engine and components, and as soon as enough people have been suckered to convert, you watch the government put a tax on it that makes it at least as expensive (in the overall scheme of things) as petrol.
I used to drive taxis (Kingswoods and Falcons) in Melbourne on dual fuel, and on gas they were cranky, horrid things to drive. I've owned two LPG cars - one already converted when I acquired it (a Fraud Falcon), and one that I had converted (a Rover). Rubbish. The Rover was a great car until the conversion.
I wouldn't touch another LPG car for all the tea in China.
