This is eBay Tarek and as you know, it is an auction, so the price can go up and probably will.
The Australian dollar is worth a few cents more than the US.

Again, whilst photos can be misleading and present cars in a somewhat favourable light, I do like this car. The interior colour, which seems to be anthracite grey, is probably one of the more unusual and therefore appealing colours, and if there is something for me to comment adversly, it would be the door trims with the usual problem of the foam backing having disappeared. Otherwise, it looks fine, it is a rare model (not too many 280SELs) and if in Sydney, it would greatly appeal. Regards Styria

If it is a 1980, why does it have the early fader control?
I hope any purchaser will remove the mud flaps and consign them to the dumpster...

If indeed, the seats are in leather, their condition appears to be exceptional - I've probably never seen better given the age of the car. Two more items that are evident and can be commented on is the fact that:

1. The luggage nets at the back of the front seats are not there, and

2. The speedo is calibrated in both miles and kilometers - maybe the other way round.

Benz Boy, the fader control - it's a nice period touch. As you know, there were two types fitted, but I wasn't aware that there were early and late variations. Still "seems" a very good car. Regards Styria

N.B. . If it is as good as it appears, it could, and should, go well up to the $3k. mark - let's keep an eye on it.

I think we all do this from time to time.
It is normal so we can keep track of values and what's on the market.
