hah, you know Michel I was trying to fiddle around with the photos to make the car red, I think it would look super duper in the same custom mix red paint you have.

Fascinating collection of pictures there Des,

Honestly, I find the mix of colours available on Benzes quite boring.

Most new cars (80s up) are grey/black/dark blue/dark green, silver and gold with the odd white and champagne.
harly reds, Yellows, Light colours in green, blue and orange..

Some of the yellow cars I have owned

Nice looking cars Michel,

American cars from the 50's are interesting to look at, to me Americans expressed their pride and position within the world through their cars.

They emerged out of WW2 a super power and experienced power, prosperity and huge economic growth. They where going into space, with their cars looking like rockets and space ships, Think 1959 Cadillac, the rocket like tail lights, huge fins.

Yes very nice.

Michel, what surprises me most about your cars, is how many of them where RHD - didin't know that was possible with some of these.

There was a time when you could not register a car in New South Wales if it was not RHD...

You had to have them converted...
