1957 Cadillac Convertible - as introduced by our old friend from Carolina. It is difficult to find a more imposing car than this one. Beautiful, but just a bit worried about the double pronged weapon on the bonnet. Regards Styria

I am almost sure the Godfather made a typo with the number 4.
He must have meant a 1957 (rather than 1947) as the decade older Caddy was a rather plain and non extravagant looking vehicle
Here's the 1947

What's a typo between friends? :D I make many. :p
Regardless, I rather like the 1947 shape - flowing and rounded as it is. Yes, it does represent some austerity from the war and the space race is yet to inspire the fins and rocket shape of the 1950s models, but, I do like the organic feel of the shape.
Regards,
Brian

I make no excuses I love the art deco design period. I would even say that would be my preference in house design. :D

Actually Michel, presently I am just in the throes of 'fixing' things. To that end, I present the 1949 series 62 Caddy. Beautiful to look at, beautiful condition, and beautiful to look at. Regards Styria

......well, everything's beautiful.
