It belongs to CraigS. He's given the car a fair and honest write-up, but I haven't seen the car. I extend my best good luck wishes to him. Regards Styria
No point in putting BS in an ad and someone being disappointed when they come to view it, or more importantly, if they buy it sight unseen. It just wastes everyone's time. Someone came to look at it yesterday and, although they did not give too much away, I think they were pretty satisfied with what they saw. He was a former 6.9 owner.
Congratulations!!! Did you have much interest? Victoria? Yay; hopefully someone closer to play with!!! I'm crossing fingers the new owner will know which website is the best for information and advice!!
Well done Craig - it just remains to now establish if you got the money you had been looking for. I realize it is a personal matter, and you do not have to respond. I ask the question merely on the basis of what market prospects are likely next time someone in our group puts a 116 (6.9, 450 SEL) up for sale. Regards Styria
N.B........or, to be more appropriate, what someone should be prepared to pay.
I was reasonably happy with the result. Not as much as the asking price - probably no surprise there, but satisfactory none the less. At least I have now sold the cars I wanted to and can sort out the remaining ones. Now, if I can just get my 6.3 back, I will be even happier !

Well Michel it's not much fun playing with myself..... did I just say that???? My barn, stable, garage, carport, gravel patch, cupboards and pantry are all full. And the money I have left will go towards getting Blue Flame on the road very soon. So just to clarify, it wasn't me; Tony??? Any other Victorianites?

Grumble, grumble, grumble ......I really do wish people would learn to take better photos of the cars they are trying to sell. This one looks like they have just hosed out the dead bodies from the last heist....
Particularly poor are the low resolution ones taken with a phone camera.
You want me to pay money you show me the goods in the best possible manner.....
I'll have my Milo and go to bed...
