Video's finally up!

Thanks to BB for shooting the footage, and also taking the time to splice the in-car audio with the footage.

There's commentary throughout - a few funny moments... Next time i'll be using a mini-disc with lapel mic for better clarity. 'Un-Fortunately' the V8 engine is just too loud.

It came out well. Some of the commentary still makes me laugh.

Sorry about the shaky and jerky picture everyone. Now that I know how hard it is to smoothly film a Mercedes rocket ship around a track with a small handheld camera and liberal amounts of zoom, I am going to buy a tripod this week.

How'd the brakes hold up? I know our friends from the other site in their 6cyl and 6.9 engine cars were having some braking (or lack thereof) issues on the track...

Time to get my hands dirty again and get some more done on whitey.

What was the gag about the windscreen wipers? I didn't get it.

Hahahah... the windscreen wiper gag was actually a quote from Bill Cosby.

He talks about European cars and the wipers being where the blinkers should be.. and when you turn the corner and hit the wipers instead, the wiper are actually saying - "Dumb guy, dumb guy, dumb guy...." So.. naturally when I bumped the wipers on the track, all i could think of was dumb guy dumb guy dumb guy...

Yep, good plug for the QFM's there.
