The Red Terror is Home!

After a few months of on and off work, the RedTerror came home yesterday.

I was sitting at my desk and suddenly the sound of 6.9 litres of thunderous exhaust and engine rumble filled the air.

Shiny bright red with sparkling chrome wheels, it was simply gorgeous as it cruised past and into the parking bay!

Thank you Godfather for the umpteen hours of hard labour involved and your meticulous attention to detail!

I truly appreciate it very much!

I will be giving the Red Terror a bit of a wash and clean over the next few days (in case I take it to the Concours).

Not Marlboro red, rather a special red devised by Yours Truly, known at the paint company with its own code and the name as Michel's Red or Terror Red!

I want to vacuum the 260E tomorrow and finally finish my pre-Concourse preparation.

How is the weather looking for Sunday's Concours no rain forecasted for Parramatta Park I hope?

People stare more than you think. I guess it's the combination of a bright red and the glitzzy chrome wheels.

The (anti) rain dance seems to be working., but will have to do more dancing today

Any funny stories about people walking into things, rear-ending other cars, cars following you, or woman chastising their man because they're distracted and not listening?? Yeah a pic without a pole in the way would be teriffic for the gallery!

Michel you seem to be a perfectionist just like me!! I've got to realize that things are never perfect and I have to enjoy things for what they are. I have to relax and live for the here and now; not for what was in the past, or way into the future. Wow that was deep!!

Not sure... I'm ususally way past that by the time it happens (it is a 6.9 after all )

I do live for today (life is too short )

However, pictures are there to look at and you'll always see that pole in the way or the not-so-perfectly shiny wheels or the dull (dusty car) paint.
